My Story
First, I have to say I consider myself blessed with experiences. I graduated high school choosing to attend college at LIU in New York City as both a soccer player and an Entrepreneurship major. My time there was invaluable, fulfilling my dreams of playing Division 1 soccer, as well as experiencing all things quintessential NYC. It was everything I'd hoped for. The perfect place for a girl with a quiet confidence to find her fearlessness. When the Covid pandemic closed virtually everything, I made the decision to finished my education at home and online through Penn State University earning a degree in Business Management and Marketing. I spent the last semester of my senior year in Florida at an internship with The Walt Disney Company, truly one of the best experiences of my life. I always have been and always will be a Disney girl, a princess who wore a lot of cleats in her life.
After graduation, I knew that I wanted to work in design so l simultaneously earned my real estate license and my interior design license from the New York School of Interior Design. I had every intention of helping families find and design the spaces of their dreams.
That was, until my sister was about to turn 21 and asked for my help in finding the “perfect pink birthday sash.” Unable to find one, I began obsessing over colors, materials, and designs. Ultimately, discovering a passion to create what I couldn’t find.
I’m fortunate to have come from an incredibly talented family of craftsmen, designers and entrepreneurs. All who chose to follow their instincts and their dreams. They are my inspiration, helping lead me to create the uniquely, The Year Two Thousand.
